Fulmar

One of several species of sea birds, of the family Procellariidæ , allied to the albatrosses and petrels. Among the well-known species are the arctic fulmar ( Fulmarus glacialis ) (called also fulmar petrel , malduck , and mollemock ), and the giant fulmar ( Ossifraga gigantea ).
